Returning to the Body
Take a breath.
Let it be easy. No need to do it right.
Just notice that you are breathing.
Let the air move in through your nose… and out through your mouth.
Maybe soften your jaw.
Let your shoulders drop.
Feel your seat or your feet connecting with the ground — something solid, something holding you.
Now bring your attention inward —not to analyze or fix, but simply to feel.
What’s alive in you, right now?
Maybe it’s warmth in the chest…a heaviness in the belly…a flicker of energy moving somewhere you can’t quite name.
Whatever you notice — stay with it.
No story, no judgment.
Just sensation.
If emotion arises, let it.
If nothing arises, that’s perfect too.
You can’t do this wrong.
This is the body remembering.
The same body that carries the echoes of your ancestors also carries the wisdom to transmute their past, their pain.
It knows how to digest the all that, how to turn experience into presence, how to alchemize pain into power.
Let your breath remind you: nothing needs to be fixed for it to be whole.
Wholeness is what happens when we allow all of it to be here.
Take one more breath — slow and steady.Feel the expansion in your ribs, the release in your exhale. You are here.
Fully.
Now.
This is the medicine of awareness. This is the remembering —not as an idea, but as a living experience in your body.
